On a warm sunny, cloudless sky morning, in late fall, Frank Bonelli Park hosted the Legends Triathlon, a sprint and olympic distance triathlon. PTC was well represented. Lynda got our Club our own private rack right at the front gate. The club grabbed a picnic area right at the finishing chute. It was a fun day of short distance triathlon.
I got some photos of the club before and after. Luis snapped a bunch of action shots during the race. Thanks, Luis for sharing your pics!
Olympic results:
- Tyler took 2nd overall! 1st in AG (15 yo punk beat had 9 seconds somewhere)
- Men’s Relay took 1st (again!) Mike Swim – Alvin Bike – Ryan Run.
- Kirk – 1st in AG
- PeterD – 2nd in AG
- Rob – 3rd in AG
- Donna – 3rd in AG
- Bjoern – 5th in AG
SteamBoat Sprint Results:
- Lynda took 1st in AG
- Sven – 3rd in AG
- Danny’s two boys finished the Steamboat Sprint. That’s their first triathlons. Good job, Dad!
